Life after 8pm in Kathmandu Valley can be very difficult. Public transport stops running and taxis double their price and getting home is a big hassle. To make travel easier for residents of the Valley, Kathmandu Metropolitan City in partnership with National Federation of Nepal Entrepreneurs started a night-metro bus service in Kathmandu and Lalitpur from Friday night onwards. 14 buses will be plying around the Ring Road area as well as Ratnapark and Central Kathmandu every night from 8pm to 11pm. The buses can seat 26 passengers and is equipped with CCTVs and police personnel for safety. (ALL PICS: BIKRAM RAI)
