SAVING FACE: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai before he began his midnight address to the nation, accompanied by Bijay Kumar Gachhedar, Rajendra Mahato and Mahendra Yadav at Baluwater. In his short speech, the PM announced the cabinet's decision to hold fresh election of the CA. The NC, UML and other fringe parties have rejected the proposal. Parties are now waiting for the President's approval of the decision.
