Where are you?

I was wondering what Charitraheen Chelis doing these days? They were conspicously quiet during Tij, the ultimate celebration of Nepali womanhood. I waited with bated breath, but alas they have chosen to keep quiet. After all, Bandana Rana spoke eloquently about Tij ('Tij with Bandana', #214) and her views made more sense to me than any other definition of Tij I had ever heard in my life. And one letter writer in the next issue chose to misinterpret it as Rana possibly having 'some personal prejudice against marriage and husband'.

Charitraheen Chelis, where are you when we need you? Why do you keep mum when we need you?

Sanjana Shrestha,
New Road
