Climate projects

Two climate projects in Nepal funded by the Global Environment Family were launched at the COP29. The first aims to improve Nepal’s ability to track, report and verify progress towards climate goals in order to demonstrate compliance with goals in the Paris Agreement. The second called ‘MaWRiN’ will make indigenous people in the Marin watershed resilient to climate impact with nature-based initiatives.
