Japan vax aid

The Japanese government through UNICEF has provided equipment including nine transportable walk-in coolers, 38 solar-driven vaccine refrigerators, 1,109 long-range vaccine carriers and 53 cold boxes to ensure effective Covid-19 vaccine rollout in Nepal. The grant also supports human resources to monitor and maintain the cold chain facility. Japan is also providing a loan worth Rs10.39 billion to assist Nepal’s economic recovery and growth.
