Nepal-Korea 50th

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea on Tuesday launched a book on the success stories of Nepali workers who have returned and started sustainable businesses back home. Ambassador Taeyoung Park and Foreign Minister N P Saud jointly took part in the ceremony in Kathmandu. The book is a compilation of the stories of 26 Korean EPS (Employment Permit System) returnees who have used the skills and experience in education, hospitality and agriculture, gathered while working in Korea to good use back home in Nepal. Ambassador Park and Minister Saud also unveiled the official logo of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Republic of Korea and Nepal in 1974 which will be used for all official functions during the year.  "As we stand in the threshold of the next 50 years, let us envision a future where our nations continue to grow and prosper together," Park said at the function.
