Hi-Aim 2024

Hi-AiM 2024, with the theme Hospitality & Its Social Responsibility, concluded last week at Aloft Kathmandu. ,The conference was inaugurated by Matthieu Ricard, a French neurophysicist who became a Buddhist monk and is now in Kathmandu Nepal as part of Schenshen Monastery. 

The event featured discussions and presentations from renowned companies and stakeholders with the participation of hotel owners, developers, architects, interior designers, and representatives of hotel brands, among others.

The emphasis was on using local talent and material over global to fulfill the obligation to the Earth. 250 delegates participated in the event which was guided by Romesh Koul, founder of Naaz Hotel Consultants and Anil Sharma, renowned architect and founder of practice A Sharma Associates. It was sponsored by Asian Paints Nepal.

Delegates from the hospitality side included Rajeev Menon, President of Asia Pacific (excluding China) at Marriott International, K. B. Kachru, Chairman Emeritus & Principal Advisor of Radisson Hotel Group, Rajeev Kaul, advisor at the Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts, Ajay Bakaya, Chairman and Managing Director of Sarovar Hotels and Resorts, Cyrus Madan, Senior Vice President Business Development at Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, Suresh Kumar, Hospitality Mentor, Director & Board Member at KUE Management Services, Rakesh Mathur, an industry expert, Pushpendra Bansal, COO at the Lords Hotel and Resorts.
