Domestic Air Services (Liability) Act, 2083 has been introduced in the Federal Parliament to increase passenger safety. The proposed new law has provisions for baggage loss, flight delays and other service failures. Airlines, however, say that most reason for delays are beyond its control like poor visibility and congestion at airports.
