Taxiway extension and expansion at Kathmandu airport is stalled because high-grade aggregate supplies from Godavari quarries are cut because of a legal dispute between quarry operators and the Municipality. The dispute stems from unresolved tax/royalty claims against operators. About 90% of the airport expansion has been completed.
