Three days after the CPN-M announced they would boycott and disrupt polls, the High Level Political Commission has decided to bring them to talks and address their demands.

At a meeting in Baneswor on Saturday, leaders of four parties agreed to hold an all-party meet, shuffle the HLPC, and revise the agreements that made Khil Raj Regmi head of government if the CPN-M agreed for elections in November.

After the meeting, UCPN(M) Deputy Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha said that the HLPC would be reformed according to the decisions made at the all -party meet, and that the parties would be flexible while making changes to the 11-point agreement and the ordinance ratified by the president.

The parties also stood firm at on their stance that the current government would hold the second Constituent Assembly elections.
