World Bank loan

The World Bank’s new 7-year Country Partnership Framework puts $2.7 billion towards creating jobs, making services more accessible, and building resilience to natural disasters in Nepal. The Framework also aims to create a more investment-friendly environment, improve public service delivery, and unlock tourism in new cities. The Bank this week also approved a $275m loan to improve electricity distribution in Kosi, Bagmati, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim, and irrigation in Kailali.
