NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL), the international arm of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has committed to strengthening digital payment connectivity between India and Nepal such as growing adoption of QR-based UPI payments. India remains among the leading source of tourist arrivals each year with over 290,000 visitors in 2025.
