Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri was in Kathmandu this week on a visit to prepare for Prime Minister Balendra Shah's proposed trip to New Delhi later this month. Misri met with the PM on Thursday. He met Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal and Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle as well, and also discussed a bilateral assistance package and joint river projects. The visit coincided with the arrival of the new Indian Ambassador Sudhakar Dalela.
