Maoist party's foreign department head Krishna Bahadur Mahara has gone to Delhi to meet high level Indian leaders and win their support for the formation of a Maoist-led consensus government as per party president Pushpa Kamal Dahal's directions. The Maoists are optimistic that Mahara's visit will help create a favourable environment for them, softening the Indian stance against them. "We are hopeful that Mahara's visit will revive our faltering relationship with India," the source said. Mahara's press assistant Manoj Ghartimagar said that he was in Delhi for his wife's treatment.
