The Budi Gandaki flood has damaged trail sections and bridges on the Manaslu circuit, cutting off inflow of trekkers during the peak autumn season for Larke Pass and Tsum Valley trails. About 120 stranded trekkers and their guides were evacuated by Nepali Army helicopters. Many hikers have chosen alternative routes like Everest and Annapurna.
