Aloft by Marriott Kathmandu Thamel has contributed Rs.1.5 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, with contributions from both associates and the hotel to support communities affected by the 26 August floods. The team also donated relief material worth Rs300,000.
The French government also donated in-kind items like solar lamps, medicine and hygiene kits, and other items to the NDRRMA. France said it will contibute cash to the UN relief fund.
