Mediciti and medical record management platform SwasthaID have signed an agreement to set up a medical record-sharing system to allow patients’ health records to be accessed and shared across partner hospitals, the first of its kind in Nepal. The data will be shared with patients' consent, and individuals will be able to control access to their details through time-limited, single-use tokens. Doctors will be able to access the records using their Nepal Medical Council registration numbers.
