Nepal Airlines earned Rs17.33 billion from ticket sales in the last fiscal year. Although this is an increase of Rs2 billion from last year, the airline has paid Rs2.12 billion out of the total Rs56 billion debt to the Employees Provident Fund and the Citizen Investment Trust for loans to buy its Airbus jets.
