FlyDubai launched daily flights connecting Pokhara and Dubai on 23 September, and commanding the Boeing 737 Max 8 was a Nepali Captain Sarbjeet Yadav. Pokhara mayor Dhanraj Acharya and other Gandaki Province officials greeted Yadav and the FlyDubai crew on arrival in Pokhara.
