Nepal’s remittance inflows rose 38.2% to a record Rs2.1208 trillion in the first 11 months of FY 2025/26. Nepal Rastra Bank said inflows reached Rs203.89 billion in April-May alone, up from Rs176.32 billion a year earlier. There were 367,211 new foreign labor approvals and 355,735 renewed permits.
