Nepal lost its fourth consecutive and the last hockey match to host Bangladesh 0-24 today. With Wednesday's loss, Nepal has broken its own record. It conceded 79 goals in four matches and could score only goal. In  1995 SAG, Nepal had conceded 54 goals, while scoring none.

Nepal has added one more bronze to its medal tally following Nepali men's performance in shooting at the South Asian Games. Nepalese duo Tika Ram Shrestha and Chanas Rai won their medal in the 10-metre air rifle team event on Wednesday.

Nepal’s total medal count so far is seven bronze.

Meanwhile, Nepal's handball team entered the semi-final round on Wednesday based on better goal difference after host Bangladesh beat Afghanistan 48-18. On Tuesday, Nepal beat Afghanistan bettering its chances of entering the semi-finals.

The Nepali men's kabbadi team lost its final round robin match to Pakistan 16-44. Nepali kabbadi teams have already booked bronze medals in men's and women's event.

Nepali men's football team is leading 1-0 against Bhutan on Wednesday afternoon. Anil Gurung scored in 35th minute.

The Nepali basketball team is currently playing its semi-final match.
