The government has introduced a new code of conduct for CDOs and other officials, banning personal social media use during office hours. It covers eight areas including professional, social, and personal conduct. Officials are also barred from accepting food, transport, or accommodation from service recipients during field visits, and from consuming alcohol on office premises. Social media activity outside office hours will also be scrutinised.
