Light fares allow customers to have one piece of checked-in luggage while ‘Essential’ fares allows an extra piece of luggage, seat preselection and the option to upgrade using Asia Miles. The ‘Flex’ category gives passengers full control over their travel plans. Cathay Pacific is also shifting its baggage policy from a weight-allowance to a piece-allowance system.</p>
