Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel has once again failed to get elected in the lone race for the premiership. In the sixteenth round of the elections, 101 lawmakers participated, and Poudel garnered just 82 votes. Two votes were cast against him while 17 MPs preferred not to vote.
The Business Advisory Committee has scheduled the next round for 15 November at 3pm. Anticipating Poudel’s defeat, the Committee set the new date even before the voting was conducted
