Two hundred and seventy Maoist combatants under PLA fourth division have passed the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination this year.
Combatants of Sainamaina of Rupandehi, Hattikhor, Jagaha and Jhyaltungdanda cantonments of Nawalparasi under the fourth division had appeared for SLC examination in centres of Nawalparasi-based Arunkhola.
Dil Bahadur Rokaya, who joined Maoist-waged people’s war while studying in grade 9 in a school of Jumla eight years ago, passed SLC this year with first division. He is now the commander of the company under the fourth division. He said he has aim to complete his higher level education.
