At least 43 people died in a bus accident that occurred at Ritthebhir of Shitalpati VDC-5 in Sindhuli district, Thursday morning.
According to Assistant Chief District Officer Bimal Kumar Pokhrel, all the bodies of the deceased have been recovered from the incident site.
Pokhrel further said, four of the 16 seriously injured are in a critical condition.
The accident took place when the bus heading towards Kathmandu from Sindhuli via Banepa plunged into Sunkoshi River from the gravel road at Ritthevir.
