All of the reports of the thematic committees settled by the High Level Taskforce has been endorsed by the parties of the Constituent Assembly.

“Today’s meeting of the 27 parties today gave a nod to all the issues settled the taskforce,” said Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak who was present at the meeting. Though parties differed slightly on judiciary system, the meeting approved the progress made by the taskforce, he said.

Efforts to finalise the remaining unsettled 83 issues has began, starting from the new name of the new constitution.

Chief whip of Maoists Pos Bahadur Bogati said that parties will start laying down the groundwork to forge consensus on the remaining 83 issues of constitution drafting. Discussions will start on the report prepared by the CA Committee on Determining Forms of Governance.
