Anandi Devi passes away

Patron of Nepal Sadvawana Party (Anandidevi), Anandi Devi Singh, passed away at Rajbiraj on Sunday. She was 76 years old.

Singh is the widow of founding President of Nepal Sadvawana Party, Gajendra Narayan Singh. Following the demise of her husband, Ananda Devi Singh became the President of the Party and later its patron. Singh had been living at the Saptari Sewa Asharam at Rajbiraj-4 of Saptari.

Her body was kept at the Saptari Sewa Ashram for those wishing to pay their final tributes. And huge mass of local leaders and cadres had gathered to pay their last respects.
