Nepali students in protest against their college in Mauritius are set to return to Nepal.
RD Sharma of Dimensions International Education Group told Nepali Times the college decided to drop charges against the students and help them return home “on humanitarian grounds”. He also claimed that the students’ claims to have paid up to 4,000 Euros for tuition fees were baseless.
The students agreed to accept up to Rs 76,000 in compensation and drop all their charges against the college.
