The Cabinet held a meeting on Thursday and endorsed the budget of fiscal year 2011/12, said Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari.
The National Planning Commission also okayed the government’s new budget of Rs 3.84 trillion. The Planning Commission also endorsed its three-year planning, said Vice Chairman of NPC Dr Dinesh Chandra Devkota.
The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal where Finance Minister Adhikari, Home Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara, government secretaries, including Finance Secretary Krishna Hari Baskota were present.
