The meeting of the Legislative-Parliament endorsed four ordinances relating to organised crime, extradition, health service and civil service on Monday.
Several opposition members spoke against approving the bills, but they were outvoted by the majority.
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam tabled the Ordinance against Organised Crime 2069 and Extradition Ordinance 2069. The Nepal Health Service (Fourth Amendment) Ordinance 2069 was put forward by Minister for Health and Population Khagraj Adhikari. The Civil Service (Third Amendment) Ordinance was tabled by Minister for General Administration Lal Babu Pandey.
