The Maoists have decided to not join the Government unless the UML makes its view on the seven-point agreement official.
The Standing Committee meeting of the party today held at its central office, Koteswor, took this decision.
"If the UML does not take a clear stance, our party will support the peace process and constitution drafting process from outside," vice-president of the Party, Narayan Kaji Shrestha said after the meeting concluded.
The Maoists have urged the UML to respect the agreement and build an atmosphere of trust.
