Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that a conducive environment for political consensus has been formed after the meeting of the top leaders of the three parties today.
Talking to journalists at the Constituent Assembly building premises, Prime Minister Nepal said that it is necessary to seek consensus on all topics by utilizing this favourable environment. He added that the ninth session of the Legislature-Parliament will be called soon after reaching consensus with the parties.
President of the UML, Jhalanath Khanal, said that the ninth session of the Parliament would be immediately summoned as the Maoists have agreed to withdraw the proposal for a special session.
