Photo: RSSPrime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday.
Dahal first held a one-to-one meeting with Modi at Haidarabad House of New Delhi, and then a formal meeting in the presence of other ministers and top officials from both countries.
Dahal had reached New Delhi on Thursday for a four-day state visit. India's Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj had reached the Indira Gandhi International Airport to welcome Dahal.
Dahal and Modi will organise a joint press conference later today.
It is Dahal's second state visit to India as Nepal's Prime Minister. He had first visited India as Nepal's Executive Head in September 2008. After his unsuccessful attempt to sack the then-army chief in a bid to capture the state, Dahal was ousted from power by a new coalition backed by India.
