Following the decision of the Special Committee on army integration to remove dual security system for Maoist leaders, 30 PLA combatants deployed for Maoist Chairman Pusha Kamal Dahal left his residence on Sunday evening. They are now at Shaktikhor cantonment.

Dahal was guarded by a team of 50 combatants along with the security personnel provided by the state.

The remaining 20 will leave their duty on Monday. Spokesperson of the PLA Third Division Janak Bista informed that the combatants will be arriving with the weapons they were using for Dahal’s security.The combatants will be accompanied to the cantonement by a team of the special committee, who will monitor the weapons.
