At a program in Kathmandu, a number of ex-CA members from the UCPN(M), NC, UML and the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum suggested that the only way out of the current political impasse is to revive the Constituent Assembly. Janardan Sharma, Prakash Sharan Mahat and Surendra Pandey spoke in favour of the idea whereas Dev Gurung of the Mohan Baidya-led CPN-M said his party was against CA revival until the current government resigned.
