Home to Poudel too?

UML leader KP Oli has said that the Home Ministry will soon be headed by Defense Minister Bishnu Poudel.

Explaining that both are security related ministires, Oli said that Poudel should be handle both the ministries. He added that Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal should not make delay the appointment of the home minister in order to improve law and order situation in the country, referring to the recent Ansari shooting case.

His statement has been backed by UML Secretary Shankar Pokhrel. Speaking at a separate program on Friday, Pokhrel said that Prime Minister Jhal Nath Khanal will handover the ministry after the differences with the Maoists are sorted out. He said that the Maoists should not be allocated any of the security related ministries as the party had misused those ministries in past.
