The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has failed to confirm international reports about the death of four Nepalis in the suicide truck bomb and gun attack in Kabul on Tuesday morning.

"The Nepali Embassy in Islamabad has been in touch with Afghan officials but there has been no confirmation about the deaths of Nepalis in the attack," said Arjun Bahadur Thapa, spokesperson of the ministry.

Quoting the Afghan police AFP reported the death of four Nepali guards, one Afghan guard and two Afghan civilians in the attack that destroyed the entrance to a compound used by a foreign NATO supply company in the Afghan capital.
