The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) hiked the price of the kerosene and diesel on Sunday.
Executive Director of the NOC Digambar Jha informed that the price of diesel and kerosene has been increased by Rs 5 per liter. Now, diesel and kerosene cost Rs 73.50 per litre.
Jha said that the NOC will bear Rs 9.16 loss per litre of diesel and 96 paisa per litre of kerosene even after the price hike as well. The loss will amount to Rs 739 million per month.
