Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested lawmaker of CPN-UML, Naradmani Rana this morning, on the charge of misusing red passport.
A team of the CIB arrested Rana from his residence, Anamnagar, after investigating for long time and finding proof.
The CIB started inspecting him after news was published at different newspapers with proof of his involvement in the incident.Rana is lawmaker of CPN-UML from Kailali district.
Rana claimed that he had not made fake passport and charge of misusing the red passport was false.
According to Police, Manoj Karki, Rana's fake passport was made by the same group that made fake passports of lawmakers BP Yadav and Gayatri Shah, according to their investigation.
Police said that legal action against him will be taken after further investigation.
