The differences seen in the UCPN (Maoist) party over its action plan, work division and way forward is heading towards a resolution.

The Central Committee meeting of the Party on Saturday saw positive feedback of the three Vice-chairmen of the Party on the proposal presented by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

And the statements from the office-bearers at the meeting on Saturday has created an atmosphere which would take the party ahead with rock-solid unity, said Spokesperson of the Party, Dinanath Sharma.

Talking to reporters following the meeting, he said Chairman Dahal has proposed a new work division among the office-bearers.

However, no proposal was registered in regard to changing the leader of the Parliamentary Party.

Vice-chairman Mohan Baidya has been proposed to lead the organisation and disciplinary department of the party, Vice-chairman Baburam Bhattarai will be the in-charge of the parliamentary section and the Prime Ministerial candidate on behalf of the Party, while Vice-chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha will lead the party in the present Government in the capacity of Deputy Prime Minister.

Likewise, General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa has been proposed to be the in-charge of the party's military department and office secretary, the Office Secretary CP Gajurel has been proposed to head the United Front and another Secretary Posta Bahadur Bogati to lead the talks team, according to Central Member, Ram Kumar Sharma.

Party chairman Prachanda proposed to send on Sunday Vice-chairman Shrestha's name as the new leader of the party in the Government, Sharma said.

The meeting shall resume at 11:00 am on Sunday, where the remaining office-bearers and central members shall comment on the proposal
