Also, I am not sure if another two show the spillover of the main rally to adjacent streets or just marching to the rally <a href="http://www.ekantipur.com/photo-gallery/Maoist-May-Day-Demonstrations/291/3664/" rel="nofollow">8</a>, <a href="http://www.ekantipur.com/photo-gallery/Maoist-May-Day-Demonstrations/291/3667/" rel="nofollow">9</a>.

BTW Tudikhel is more like 700m x 300m, say 200,000 square metres. For one person per square metre they would have to be on parade with a full arms length of 1 metre separating the rows and columns. The way they are packed in, it looks closer to 800,000 than 500,000. Also there was spillover into adjacent streets. Of course to a frog in a well, it looks much smaller...
