Nepal's first match in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) championship ended in a draw against Maldives in New Delhi, India on Friday.
The game ended at 1-1, with Nepal neutralising the first half goal by the Maldives in the 52nd minute of the match. Sandip Rai scored for Nepal.
Likewise, the second match played under the championship between Bangladesh and Pakistan ended in a goalless draw. Nepal will now face Bangladesh on Sunday.
