The Central Working Committee meeting of the UCPN-Maoist has decided to send new faces to the present government by recalling those representing the party in the government.
The new team will be led by Vice-Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha.
Sunday's CWC meeting of the party approved the names of Narayan Kaji Shrestha for Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, Post Bahadur Bogati for Information and Communications Minister, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi for Physical Planning and Works Minister, Lokendra Bista for Health Minister, and Pampha Bhusal for Peace and Reconstruction Minister.
Similarly, Hishila Yami has been recommended as the Minister for Land Reforms while Lekh Raj Bhatta for Minister for Commerce and Supplies, Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma for Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Jay Puri Gharti for Minister of Women, Children and Social Welfare, Prabhu Saha for Minister of Law, Mahendra Paswan for Minister for Industry and Onsari Ghartimagar for Minister of Youth and Sports.
Those recommended as Ministers of State are Ram Kumar Rai (Home Ministry), Amar Tamu (Information and Communications), Devi Khadka (Physical Planning and Works), Satya Pahadi (Health Ministry), Sharad Singh Bhandari (Peace and Reconstruction), Leela Bhandari (Land Reforms), Dharma Sheela Chapagain (Commerce and Supplies), Indra Jeet Chaudhari (Tourism), Kumari Moktan (Women, Children and Social Welfare), Ghana Shyam (Law Ministry), Dhrub Angdambe (Industry), and Surya Man Dong (Youth and Sports).
Likewise, the Maoist party decided to appoint Dev Gurung as the Chief Whip, Kamala Rokka as the Whip and Khim Lal Devkota as Secretary of the Party.
According to party spokesperson Dina Nath Sharma, the proposed name list for the Ministers and Ministers of State will be handed over to the Prime Minister on Sunday.
