Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has been awarded the ‘ICAPP Star of Achievement and Lifetime Award’ by the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen honoured Prime Minister Nepal and 10 other Asian leaders, including former Prime Minister of Pakisan Benazir Bhutto, former President of the Philippines Fidel Ramos, former President of Indonesia Megawati Sukarnoputri and former Speaker of the Philippines and Co-chairman of the ICAPP Jose de Venecia, amidst a function in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Thursday.
Following the function, Prime Minister Nepal held talks with his Cambodian counterpart and discussed issues of mutual interest, including Nepal’s tourism promotion and development of Lumbini.
