Chairman of the Interim Election Council (IEC), Khil Raj Regmi has outlined 12 most important works done in the past one month (16 November to 15 December) stressing that his government completed the most crucial task of holding the Constituent Assembly elections on 19 November.
“The incumbent government formed to hold the CA polls achieved its target by successfully conducting the event,” said a statement issued by the IEC on Sunday.
The other key achievements underlined by the statement include continuation of road expansion drive, market monitoring for containing inflation of prices and cash award given away to cricketers who ensured Nepal’s place in the ICC T20 World Cup in Bangladesh next year.
Commenting on the success of ‘Hello Sarkar’ program, the statement said 25,853 complaints of citizens were resolved. This figure stands for 97.35 percent of the total complaints filed.
The government provided Rs 1.65 billion to Nepal Oil Corporation to ensure smooth supply of petroleum products, while keeping citizen charters with compensatory provisions has been made mandatory in offices under the Ministry of Agriculture, the statement further reads.
