Non-resident Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nepal, Abdullah Bin Nasser Al- Busairi said Saudi Arabian Embassy will open in Nepal within a year.
Speaking at a press meet organised by Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies(NAFEA), on the eve of the his return home after completing his tenure, he said the government of Saudi Arabia will give security to more than six hundred thousand Nepali workers there.
Ambassador Busairi who is in Nepal since 20 July has called on President Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal, the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Labor Minister, the Culture Minister and other high ranking officials.
"The demands of qualified Nepali manpower and workers in Saudi Arabia have been still increasing" he said.
According to NAFEA, Dr Busairi is positive towards the 11 point demands of NAFEA including opening Saudi Arabian embassy in Nepal. Busairi is leaving for Bangladesh on 26 July after completing his six day visit to Nepal.
