The public transport service, which had been halted in Far Western region for the past two days, resumed from Tuesday evening.
The service resumed after an agreement reached between the representatives of Federation of Transport Entrepreneurs and Home Ministry, informed Chairperson of Far Western Bus and Minibus Entrepreneurs Committee, Tek Raj Joshi.
The representatives reached to a consensus to stop operating the vehicles of the registered new committee until a decision is made by the Ministry, to make necessary arrangement of treatment to those injured during transport strike and to release those arrested during agitation, among others.
