Hundreds of people lined at the Tribhuwan Internationa Airport (TIA) on Sunday waving Nepal's flag and waiting eagerly for the Nepali cricket team returning from UAE. With so many fans surrounding the area, the security guards had a tough time escorting the players from the arrival gate.
Nepal qualified for the ICC Twenty20 World Cup after beating Hong Kong by five wickets last Wednesday during the qualifying match in Abu Dhabi. The Twenty20 World Cup will take place in March next year in Bangladesh. This is the biggest achievement for the Nepali team since it started playing international cricket in 1996.
