Nepal made a winning start to the World Cup 2014 qualifiers by defeating East Timor 2-1 at the match played at Dasarath Stadium on Wednesday.
Anil Gurung opened the account in the 15th minute of the first half while Jumanu Rai added the second in the 70th minute of the match, after East Timor had leveled the score in the 48th minute of the match.
Correia scored the only goal for the visitors just three minutes into the second half.
